Decision Making
Mastering complexity and dynamics
“A perfect mix of example, theory and practice! Most important for me was when to go with or against mygut instinct. Many thanks for that!”

Focus
We intuitively make a wealth of decisions of varying levels of importance every day. This intuition, however, lets us down when we need to make decisions involving complexity, great significance and risk, possibly also under time pressure.
You will learn how to use all available resources, especially within your own team, to their best advantage. And not least, you will develop a plan which will evaluate the success of your methods and, if necessary, react to any discrepancies.
Using examples from air, sea and space travel, we will analyse typical decision making processes.
We will work on different concepts such as “FOR-DEC”, “worst case scenario” and “devil’s advocate” as well as on the impact
of stress. Using a combination of short practice exercises and our interactive training platforms, techniques will be not only learned
but also applied and reflected upon.
